Under 14's receive trophy at League presentation

Our Under 14's today attended the Central Lancs Junior Football League presentation to collect their Division 2 title. The event which was held at UCLAN, saw all the league teams that had received honours, attend to collect their trophies.

There was a real sense of achievement for a team that have come such a long way in just 12 months. This was a team that was having to play a year up last year due to lack of numbers and it was feared that they would not be playing football for the club again. In came Andrew Sidgreaves and Ian Coupe who have transformed the team and given them something to play for. The team will now move up to Division 1 next season and it is hope that we will see them back
