Festive fun at juniors christmas party

There was festive fun to be had by all at the Longridge Town Juniors Christmas party held this weekend. All our juniors were treated to hot dogs, sweets, fun and games and of course a special appearance from the big man himself.

With a wonderful set of parents in tow, we were also treated to some frosty receptions as they dressed up as snowmen to re-enact Olaf from Frozen.

The highlight of the night though had to be the visit from the big man himself, who despite his heavy schedule managed to spend a couple of hours with us, meeting and speaking to the children and handing out presents to each and every one.

A special thanks to Longridge Town Cricket Club for the use of their fantastic facilities for which it is hope will be used again and also to our wonderful elves who prepared the food and made sure everyone was suitably entertained.

The night was finally made when Santa got back to the North Pole and sent this message

"be proud of your players, they all behaved impeccably and are a credit to you all. Just want to say thank you to all my little elfers tonight. You are all on my good list. Gotta go, Im doing the same thing in half an hour in Russia. See you on the 25th"

Now I believe in Christmas..........
