Great turnout for sponsored walk

There will be a lot of sore feet out there this week after the club completed a 7 mile sponsored walk to raise money for club funds.

It was a great turnout for the club and we were graced with some good weather. All the children had smiles on their faces and raced all the way to the finish, but special credit must be given to development coach Mark Fisher who sacrificed his personal best time to stay at the back and make sure everyone got home safely !!!!!!!!!!

Special thanks must go to Alex Alston from Alston Arms for supplying chip butties, Adam Draper at One Call Hospitality for providing liquid refreshments and Jane Winder and Joanne Cummings for all the work in the clubhouse.
