A bright day for our Under 8's

With the first day of sunshine this year, it was a fantastic morning for our Under 8's as they took part in their respective cup competitions.

Both teams faced daunting groups, but expectations were high for both teams. The matches were played in a competitive spirit and both teams were up for the challenge.

Undefeated in the groups, both teams faced quarter final slots, our Blacks against Astley and Buckshaw and our Reds faced Ribble Valley rivals Chipping. While the reds eased comfortably past Chipping, our Blacks faced the nail-biting scenario of penalties and ultimately the dreaded sudden death, but with no parent able to watch, they finished the game winners and will head to finals day.

Finals day will take place on Saturday 14th May at Penwortham Holme and we hope that you can all get down and show your support on this exciting day.
