Bigg's signs professional forms

It is a proud day in the Bigg's household as our very own Under 9 Red Charlie Biggs has signed for Blackburn Rovers on an initial 12 month contract following an 8 week trial with the club.

Charlie has been with us since he started with the development group and this is a major coup for the club to have one of our own scouted and signed by a professional club. It is also a credit to his father Mark Biggs who coaches the Under 9's with Mark Stephenson for all the hard work that they have put in to his development.

Blackburn were not the only club who had shown an interest but Mark said "it was Charlie's choice to sign for Blackburn which I was fully on board with due to their record with academy players in the first team."

We wish Charlie all the best and will be keeping a keen eye on his progress.
