Under 11 Reds are the gentlemen of the town

We are pleased to announce that our Under 11 have achieved the Central Lancs Junior Football league sportsmanship award for the season 2018-19.

This is a massive achievement for the boys, and one that shows the respect that they have amongst their peers and is a credit to coaches Jeremy Riding and Andy Platt for the way that they have transformed the team over the last season.

The award though is not solely down to the players, it is also down to the parents who turn up every week and for this, you help is appreciated in winning this award. Each week opposition managers mark the players, coaches and parents on the respect shown and these points are averaged out over a season to award this result, so it really is a team game.

The players will now attend the league presentation on Saturday 8th June 2019 to collect their trophy. Well done all.
